Lover or Mate?

Hiii....It feels great to be back here in blogosphere. A lot has been changed in this past one year....And did anybody miss me?...Lemme guess.Hmm....Nobody? :(
Ok. Lets come to the topic straight away.
The other day i was watching this movie called 'Alvin and The Chipmunks'. People who love animated movies must have heard of it, I am sure. And hey! Dont laugh, so what if i am 21 and a half and still love animated movies and cartoons? Nothing wrong with it right? I've seen many 'oldies'( :) ) who still love to eat chocolates. So where was i, ya ...The movie. Hmm...it was a very sweet one. All these chipmunks(there wre three) were so adorable, and theodre was the cutest and my favourite among all.

The movie was going vey smooth and suddenly one word from Simond(the smartest chipmunk among them) caught my attention. The scene was- The hero is meeting his ex-girl friend after years. She gives him a visit to his place where he is living with these three cutiepies. Theodere asks him very innocently who she is, to which Simond gives a very quick response saying

'She is his 'mate'.

I was taken aback when i heard him say that word. Ya, Coz that's how i described lovers two years back. And when i heard the same word from a chipmunk, i realised what a fool and a non-human being(haa,,,nice way of calling myself an animal haa;) ) i was to think like that. After all we are humans, love means a lot more than that to us. Doesn't it? I burst into laughter when the hero, hearing this word disgustingly says: 'Guys! She is not my mate! (Ok now i was getting inquisitive to see how he explains them and thought atleast he uses the right words) . But then, to my surprise he says:

Guys! She is not my mate! She is my 'ex-mate' !

I was like , What? Idiot this is what you have to say? H a ha aa , LOL still couldn't control it(Now don't ask me what was so funny about it).But after watching it, the message was all clear.

That everybody needs a family, everybody needs love, ya even animals.

Didn't know one could learn so much from them.....:)....I think all you guys reading this should watch the movie once.

P.S.: BTW this hero, heroine thing....i know it sounds wierd..but sorry i don't remember their names. .I was too busy admiring the chipmunks throughtout the movie. :) The short lil guy in the green T-Shirt is 'Theodere' . Aint he cute...?
